Apartment Moving · Oklahoma City

Apartment Movers Who Ask About the Elevator First.

Studios to three bedrooms, condos and townhomes too. The building matters as much as the boxes: the elevator, the gate, where the truck can sit. Moving sooner than planned? Call. The answer is usually yes.

Apartments, Condos, and Small Moves

The Building Is Half the Job

Studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, condo, townhome, duplex: the unit is only part of it. The other part is where the truck can sit, how far the walk is, whether a high-rise elevator has to be reserved, and what hours the property allows. We plan around the building, and the price comes off the same published rates as every local move.

No two properties run the same rules. Ask the leasing office, then send us what you learn. Loading, the drive, unloading, and placement are the job. Taking furniture apart, or help boxing the last room, is extra time you ask for ahead.

Small Moves

A Studio Still Gets a Truck and a Crew

Looking for movers for a small move? We take small moves on the same terms as big ones, and the starting total is built for them: $315 includes two movers for the two-hour minimum and the one-time $75 fuel and travel charge, before tax. A studio with the boxes packed is often a two-hour job. A one-bedroom usually runs closer to three.

That is a full move, not a helper and a rented van. The crew brings the truck, the blankets, the dollies, and the straps, loads it, drives it, and sets everything down at the new unit. If it is one room, say so, and the estimate is built for one room.

Short Notice

Lease Ends Friday? Call.

Plans change and lease dates do not. A non-renewal, a roommate gone, a job that starts Monday. Bird Dog can usually take short-notice work; the only thing that gets in the way is a move he already said yes to. Call. Do not wait on the form.

A yes comes easier when you can be flexible on the arrival window, have the gate code and the parking sorted at both ends, and keep it honest about the size. A packed one-bedroom is a different ask than a whole house tomorrow.

Ask the Leasing Office

Five Things to Find Out

01

Moving Hours

Whether move-in and move-out times are restricted, and whether a weekday matters.

02

The Elevator

Whether it has to be reserved, which door we use, and how long the window lasts.

03

Parking

Where the truck can sit, and how far the walk is from there to your door.

04

The Gate

Codes, fobs, keys, and whether the office has to let the crew in.

05

Stairs and Turns

The floor, the flights, and any piece that may not clear a landing.

Before the Truck

Ten Minutes That Save an Hour

Boxes closed and labeled, the things you will carry yourself set aside, the big pieces measured against the doorway. If you want help boxing the last of it, say so in the request.

Keep keys, medication, identification, lease paperwork, chargers, and first-night essentials with you rather than placing them on the truck.

Stairs, elevators, a long walk from the truck, and the building’s window all change the time, which is why the access details go in the request before Bird Dog confirms the estimate.

Usually, yes. Bird Dog takes short-notice work when the schedule allows, and a call is how you find out. Have both addresses, the access, and an honest size ready, and be flexible on the arrival window if you can.

Yes. Small move movers are what the two-hour minimum is for. $315 includes two movers and the truck for the two-hour minimum plus the one-time fuel and travel charge, before tax, and a small, packed apartment often fits inside that.

Yes. Tell us the floor, the flights, the distance from parking, and the big pieces, so the time is in the estimate.

The property usually only deals with the tenant. Get the reservation and the rules from the leasing office, then send us the window and the instructions.

Yes. Send both addresses, even when the move runs between Oklahoma City, Edmond, Norman, Moore, or another town nearby.

As soon as you know the lease dates. Nothing is booked until Bird Dog confirms it with you, and no card is needed to send the request.
